This wine comes from our 15.9-acre Clara’s Vineyard located on the Estate. First planted in 2003 this warm, south-facing site features rocky, porous volcanic soils that are ideal for red Bordeaux varieties. To preserve the long-term viability of the ecosystem, all of our vineyards are maintained using low-input, sustainable viticultural practices.

Tasting Notes
Decadent aromas of dark fruit, cedar, raspberry, clove, blueberry, and vanilla lead to a dense and refined palate. Flavors mimic the enticing aromas, adding dark chocolate and black currant with silky tannins leading to a long, juicy finish. Decant in its youth or allow it to evolve in bottle for the next 10+ years.
