Chalk Hill Estate Winery is located at the eastern edge of the Russian River Valley — south of downtown Healdsburg in Sonoma County, California. The winery is approximately 70 miles north of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge (a 1.5-hour drive) and 40 miles from the city of Sonoma (a 1-hour drive).

 

From San Francisco and Points South

  • Follow US-101 N north from San Francisco
  • Exit at Shiloh Road, exit number 496
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Shiloh Road
  • Continue on Shiloh Road 1.3 miles
  • Turn left onto Faught Road
  • Continue on Faught Road 1.2 miles
  • Turn right onto Chalk Hill Road
  • Continue on Chalk Hill Road 2.3 miles
  • Chalk Hill Estate will be on the right

From Redding and Points North

  • Follow I-5 South
  • Exit at CA-20, exit number 578
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto CA-20
  • Continue on CA-20 36.7 miles
  • Turn left onto CA-29 S
  • Continue on CA-29 29.4 miles
  • Turn right onto Tubbs Lane
  • Continue on Tubbs Lane 1.3 miles
  • Turn right onto CA-128 W
  • Continue on CA-128 for 11.8 miles
  • Turn left onto Chalk Hill Road
  • Continue on Chalk Hill Road 5.8 miles
  • Chalk Hill Estate will be on the left

From Sacramento and Points East

  • Follow I-80 West
  • Exit at CA-12, exit number 39B
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto CA-12
  • Continue on CA-12 W 5.7 miles
  • Turn right onto CA-12 W / CA-29 N
  • Continue on CA-29 32.3 miles
  • CA-29 will become CA-128 W
  • Continue on CA-128 W for 13.6 miles
  • Turn left onto Chalk Hill Road
  • Continue on Chalk Hill Road 5.8 miles
