WINEMAKER'S NOTES

After nearly a decade of not harvesting a botrytis Semillon, late in the 2005 vintage, perfect botrytis conditions developed in our Semillon vineyards. Sipping this wine brings to mind liquid ambrosia, with its ripe, honeyed flavors of pear, persimmon and apricot interlaced with brown sugar, spice and creme caramel.
