2000 Estate Bottled Sauvignon Blanc

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

With this release, we created an artful blend of Sauvignon Blanc from both our oldest vineyards, along with the younger blocks for a wealth of varietal and clonal diversity. The blend includes Semillon, but also Sauvignon Gris from our Oak Hill block, which adds notes of melon and peach. This diversity of sources graces the 2000 Sauvignon Blanc with flavors of pear, lemongrass, creamy peach and passion fruit. The wine has an expansive entry, great length, and is crisp but well balanced and elegantly structured.
