Adherence to low yields promoted maturity in this excellent vintage, and harvesting only those clusters at ideal ripeness delivered grapes of impeccable quality and character. After whole-cluster pressing, the entire vintage was allowed to progress through fermentation in neutral French oak barrels for maximum fruit expression. Weekly batonage stirred in richness, texture, and complexity. The wine offers up perfumed aromas of jasmine and citrus blossoms, flavors of red apple, apricot and citrus, and nuances of almond and hazelnut. The rich and expansive mouthfeel is punctuated by the bright, vibrant structure.
