2000 Estate Vineyard Selection Pinot Gris

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

The vineyard which grows this wine is planted to two Alsatian clones: clone 146, which is highly aromatic and delicate, while clone 152 features full-bodied textures and heightened complexity. We vinified these grapes using whole cluster pressing, neutral oak, and sur lies aging to craft a robust, balanced and elegant Pinot Gris. The 2000 features aromas of citrus, red apple and jasmine accented with white pepper and hazelnut. The broad mid-palate and vibrant finish add notes of pear, quince and ginger.
