TWENTY-SIX different plantings— a result of our pioneering and ongoing clonal research program— provide us with different lots, all building blocks that add to the sum. The entire vintage was allowed to progress in barrel through fermentations that imparted layers of texture and complexity. Aged in French oak for 14 months, it was then gently bottled. Neither fined nor filtered, the wine boasts intense aromas of Asian pear, green apple, toasted hazelnut and integrated oak. Our signature combination of richness and elegance is evidenced by the creamy, crisp flavors of lemon pie, and exotic spice, all buoyed by the bright, fresh acidity.
