2001 Estate Bottled Chardonnay

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

Selected from fifteen clones throughout the Estate, this Chardonnay was barrel fermented and aged in 40% new French oak for nine months. Batonage of all barrels was done on a weekly basis to add complexity and texture. Minimally fined and gently bottled, the wine boasts intense aromas of apricot, Meyer lemon, and minerals that complement the white fruits, citrus oils and spice flavors. A long, concentrated finish supports the seamless texture
