1997 Estate Bottled Chardonnay

WINEMAKER'S NOTES

After painstakingly hand sorting during this wild and wonderful harvest, nearly 30% of our Chardonnay was sacrificed to preserve Chalk Hill’s unwavering commitment to top quality. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented. Weekly stirring ensured full flavor development and enhanced aromas and complexity. The wine is elegant and lush, brimming with the classic citrus, floral and mineral trademarks of Chalk Hill Chardonnay.
