WINEMAKER'S NOTES

The cool, dry 1995 vintage was ideal for our Cabernet Sauvignon, and, incredibly, rated as highly as the legendary 1994. Every block of the vineyards achieved the same perfect state of ripeness at the same time. This wine exhibits ripe berry aromas interlaced with hints of roasted meats, plum and Chalk Hill earth. Bright baked berries and black cherries grace the palate, with chocolate and spice chiming in on the full, lingering finish.
