Jordan Fiorentini Appointed Director of Winemaking

Prior to this appointment, Fiorentini was Associate Winemaker at Chalk Hill working directly with Leveque on all winemaking operations. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Fiorentini earned her Master’s degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California at Davis. Before joining Chalk Hill, Fiorentini honed her skills working for Araujo Estate in Napa, and Antinori in Tuscany.Drawn to Chalk Hill by her desire to make ultra-premium wines from the finest estate vineyards, Fiorentini enjoyed a close working relationship with Leveque, a collaboration that will allow Fiorentini to maintain the continuity of quality and expressive style for which Chalk Hill is renowned. Peggy Furth, Managing Partner of Chalk Hill Estate Winery, characterized Fiorentini’s ascension as a natural progression consistent with winemaker successions in many of the finest wine estates. Peggy explains, “Mark Lingenfelder, Vice President of Vineyard Operations, has perfected the Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards for over 28 years. Jordan will have an opportunity to draw on Mark’s experience to showcase the diversity of each vineyard parcel using her winemaking skills on both small lots and Estate blends.
