Cabernet is grown on the warmest sites at the Estate. The blocks on the east side are hillside sites with gravelly or cobble-rich soils; on the newer west side blocks like Clara's, red volcanic soils predominate. Careful management on all sites means balanced vines and complex flavors in the fruit.
